Congratulations to our former of counsel the Honorable Frank A. Doddato. We are pleased to announce that Judge Doddato is serving as a Judge of the District Court Nassau County and was appointed by the Honorable Edward Mangano, Nassau County Executive in February 2015. We wish Judge Doddato well in his future endeavors.

We are also pleased to announce our association with Melvyn Roth. Melvyn Roth has been practicing criminal law for the past forty-seven years and served Nassau County as a former Chief of the Racquets Bureau of the Nassau County District Attorney’s Office. With a recent victory in Supreme Court, Nassau County on a motion for summary judgment, in which the Court found the defendant liable for the rear-end collision she caused, the firm was able to settle the case on behalf of our client for $100,000.00.



June 6, 2014

Once again, congratulations to Mary Ellen O’Brien! By Decision and Order, the Appellate Division, Second Department denied Appellant-Husband’s motion to vacate its prior decision dismissing his appeal. Appellant-Husband sought to appeal the Supreme Court, Nassau County decision which invalidated the prenuptial agreement between the parties. Representing the Appellee-Wife, Ms. O’Brien was able to secure this Decision on June 6, 2014.

Congratulations to Mary Ellen O’Brien. Representing Respondent-Husband, she was able to get the Supreme Court of Nassau County trial decision and order affirmed by the Appellate Division, Second Department. Her excellent brief writing skills and expertise allowed our client to defeat an appeal by Appellant-Wife to reverse a decision of the Supreme Court of Nassau County which awarded Respondent-Husband sole custody of his two children.

A Wantagh Avenue used car dealer/repair shop is preparing for a short move down the road.

Cherrywood Auto Sales and Service on 1200 Wantagh Ave. is planning to relocate to the site of an old Getty gas station at corner of Wantagh Avenue and Beltagh Avenue. The move 0.3 miles south to 1386 Wantagh Ave. is needed due to impending arrival of TD Bank at the current Cherrywood Auto site, according to the business's owner Harry Rotenberg, who is in contract to purchase the 12,765 square-foot former Getty property for around $650,000.
